PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — Two active-duty Joint Base Lewis McChord soldiers were arrested Thursday in connection with a homicide in Kittitas County, deputies said.
The body of 20-year-old Leroy Scott was found April 25 along Smithson Road, north of Ellensburg, investigators said.
Investigators said Scott was at a party with 20-year-old Raylin James and 20-year-old Joshua Gerald the night of the murder.
Both men were arrested without incident, authorities said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
