MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A teen was arrested Monday after threats were made to shoot up a middle school and the boy was on campus with a firearm, according to the Moses Lake Police Department.
Officers were given information that a student had made threats to shoot up Chief Moses Middle School.
Arriving officers made contact with the student in class and recovered a pistol, as well as two magazines of ammunition.
After the weapon was secured, the eighth-grade student was arrested.
Investigators discovered the student had a list of potential targets.
The school district notified the people on the list and are taking steps to offer services to those affected.
