Lingering power outages cancel classes at some schools

The aftermath of Sunday’s storm has left a few schools without power.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS

Bellevue School District: Tuesday, October 26, 2021, Newport High School (NHS), is without electricity, and school is canceled. There will be no activities at Newport High School and no virtual school. We do not yet have an estimate for when power will be restored at NHS and will communicate with more information Tuesday.

Northshore School District: Closed due to power outages. Kenmore Elementary - No before or after school activities.
