SEATTLE — After a two-year suspension during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fourth of July fireworks will be back at Lake Union this year.
Seafair Summer Fourth is free and open to the public. Organizers say this year’s celebration is going to be “bigger and better than ever,” with a fully choreographed show featuring more than 10,000 pounds of fireworks, along with a musical score.
Before the fireworks show, there will be activities at Gas Works and Lake Union parks. Past activities included live music, interactive exhibits, eating contests, field games and vendors.
Park gates open at 3 p.m. and the fireworks start at 10:15 p.m.
There will be reserved and free seating options at both parks.
For reserved seating, visit www.seafair.org/tickets.
