RENTON, Wash. — Renton police announced the retirement of K9 Zoey after nine years on the force.

RPD said Zoey seized about 520 pounds of narcotics in her career, which has a street value of around $10,817.

K9 Zoey also appeared at community events and modeled Facebook-picked Halloween costumes.

She will be retiring in the car of her handler, Det. Braun.

It’s unclear if RPD is seeking a replacement K9 down the road.
