Power has been restored to thousands of customers after a utility pole fire caused an outage from Seattle’s Westlake area to the Magnolia neighborhood on Wednesday evening.
At 9:48 p.m., Seattle City Light said it had restored power to more than 7,000 customers but 2,025 customers in the Westlake area were still without power.
Crews had estimated earlier that power would be restored to all by 3 a.m.
However, City Light tweeted an update that power had been restored to all at 11 p.m.
