Tukwila police say two teenagers burglarized a mosque early Tuesday.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Abu Bakr Mosque in the 14100 block of Tukwila International Blvd. at 2:46 a.m. Tuesday to find a broken window and see someone running away from the building.
A K-9 was brought in to track the suspect, but no one was found.
While officers were searching the mosque, a teenager was found hiding inside and was taken into custody.
Police said both suspects are teenagers whose sole motive appeared to be of theft. Investigators said they have no reason to believe that the burglary was any kind of hate crime.
