BURIEN, Wash. — Two shoplifting suspects were injured after fleeing a Safeway in Burien and getting into a crash, the King County Sheriff's Office said.
The accident occurred in Burien near South 128th Street and the southbound on-ramp to State Route 509. Sheriff's officials said the suspects were fleeing the Safeway in a car when they hit a truck.
One of the suspects suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Another suspect suffered critical injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
Eastbound South 128th Street will be closed while police investigate.
