AUBURN, Wash. — Two students at an Auburn high school could face criminal charges for setting off fireworks in the boy’s locker room Thursday, according to police.
Auburn police said when the fireworks went off, it caused widespread panic among the students at Mountainview High School, who believed the sounds were gunshots.
At least one student was hurt while fleeing the school, according to officers.
Police said the case is being forwarded to the prosecutor's office for consideration of criminal charges.
