RENTON, Wash. — Renton police want to identify two persons of interest in a fire that was intentionally set in a bathroom last month.
Investigators released surveillance images of two people they say used a key to enter a cabana/clubhouse in the 200 block of South 50th Street at about 1:15 p.m. on May 20.
Police said the two entered the men’s bathroom before leaving the building.
A few minutes later, a fire alarm sounded and responding firefighters found two rolls of toilet paper burning in a trash can in the men’s bathroom.
Anyone who recognizes the people in the photos or has information is asked to contact Detective Smith at 425-430-7562 or tesmith@rentonwa.gov and reference Renton Police Depatment case #19-5610.
