SEATTLE — A pedestrian was seriously injured Tuesday evening after being hit by a car in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood.
The crash happened at 8th Avenue South and South Holgate before 5:30 p.m.
Investigators said the pedestrian has life-threatening injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Seattle fire officials said the pedestrian, a 43-year-old man, is in serious condition.
Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Detectives are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at 8th Ave S & S Holgate. The pedestrian has life threatening injuries and has been transported to Harborview Medical Center for emergency treatment. Please expect traffic delays in this immediate area.
