One person shot at McDonald's in downtown Puyallup

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Puyallup police are investigating after one person was shot Thursday night.

The shooting happened at the McDonald’s on 304 2nd St NE after 10 p.m.

According to police, there was a large fight when someone went to a car, pulled out a gun and fired rounds.

One person was hit in the leg and has non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a white 2003 Cadillac Deville with Washington Plate ALV3066.

The suspect is described as an African American male, 225 to 250 pounds, wearing a long black shirt with white writing, black pants and a hat.

According to police, the suspect is believed to be armed with an AR-15 assault rifle.

The vehicle may be in the greater Puyallup, Tacoma and Federal Way area. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911.
