Motorcyclist killed in Tacoma crash

TACOMA, Wash. — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash in Tacoma, police said.

Before 2 p.m., officers and medics responded to a report of a crash at South 82nd and Hosmer Street.

Investigators said a car and motorcycle were involved.

According to police, the motorcyclist died.

The Tacoma Police Department’s collision investigation team was called to investigate the crash.

The roadway was closed in both directions for several hours but later reopened.
