Monday at 5:30: Jesse Jones shows you how to sniff out a card skimmer

Millions are lost to every year to thieves using card skimming devices at grocery stores and gas stations.

We’ve all heard about skimmers. You put your card in. You take it out. It’s read by some thief who takes your bank information and then goes to town. On KIRO 7 on Monday at 5:30 p.m., Jesse Jones tries out a product called the Hunter Cat that can supposedly detect skimmers.

We’re going to give it a test all around the area and let you know if it works, and we’ll see if this can keep you from getting skimmed.
