WILBUR, Wash. — Crop circles reminiscent of a popular cartoon character appeared in an Eastern Washington wheat field last month.
Cindy Geib, who owns the field with her husband, said whoever made the circles, which remind her of Mickey Mouse ears, flattened about an acre of wheat.
Geib said some wheat will be able to be salvaged but the rest is ruined.
The field is about 5 miles north of the town of Wilbur.
