DES MOINES, Wash. — A man was found dead inside a garage at a Des Moines home.
Police were called to the 26000 block of Woodmont Drive South for a report of a shooting early Friday.
Officers arrived to find a man lying in the garage. Des Moines police officers and medics from South King Fire and Rescue tried to revive the victim but were unsuccessful.
Investigators said they later discovered the 41-year-old victim had a “penetrating wound.”
Police arrested a 33-year-old woman at the scene who had outstanding warrants.
Des Moines detectives are processing the scene and conducting interviews.
Police said there is no specific danger to the community related to the incident.
