SEATTLE — A man drove onto a Seattle golf course while trying to elude police in a chase that began in Pierce County Tuesday.

The man smashed through a fence and then drove onto the course at the Broadmoor Golf Club in the Madison Park neighborhood at 3 a.m.
Part of the course near the 17th hole was damaged.
The driver was arrested.
The reason for the chase is not yet known.
