Kasen Williams has been promoted from the practice squad into Lockett’s spot.

The Seattle Seahawks said Williams, a former Skyline High School and University of Washington standout, spent most of the past two seasons on the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Lockett broke both the fibula and tibia in his right leg while trying to catch a pass during a Seahawks game against the Arizona Cardinals.

He underwent surgery late Saturday night and is expected to start walking in four to six weeks.
