LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A 15-year-old boy was shot in the head and critically injured in Lakewood Friday night.
Police say he was hit by a bullet at Harrison Apartments around 7:30 p.m. when someone in a passing vehicle fired at the group he was with.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Family members told KIRO 7 reporter Joanna Small Saturday evening that the boy had died of his injuries.
Police are still investigating. The suspects are in custody.
