A new plan to help low-income families stay in their homes is now up and running.
King County launched a new site online where thousands of eligible people can apply for reduced property taxes. The program is open to low-income seniors, people with disabilities and veterans.
The exemption is now 65 percent of the median household income in King County, and the new limit is $58,423. There also is a criteria to qualify.
