PORT ANGELES, Wash. — A total of 474 grams of heroin, 83.79 grams of methamphetamine and over $13,000 were seized during day one of "Operation Spring Cleaning" in Port Angeles, police announced Wednesday.
"Operation Spring Cleaning" is a two-day warrant roundup being led by the Western District of Washington Violent Offender Task Force.
Officials said the roundup is focused on people with felony warrants for crimes of violence, drug crimes and sex crimes, as well as felons on active probation who are wanted by the Department of Corrections.
One target of the operation, according to officials, was Matthew Ennen – a man wanted by the Department of Corrections.
Police said Ennen reported to the DOC that he was going to be living at an apartment in Port Angeles rented by Marie Haller – the subject of a six-month investigation led by the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team.
Officials with the warrant team arrived at the apartment complex and said before anyone came to the front door – Ennen jumped from a second-floor window.
OPNET detectives set up outside the apartment complex took Ennen into custody without further incident.

Haller and a man named Josh Tinker were escorted from the apartment so that DOC officers could search Ennen’s property.
Officials said Tinker had a warrant for driving with a suspended license and was taken into custody.
Police said they found heroin, methamphetamine and digital scales in Ennen’s backpack and OPNET later obtained a search warrant for the rest of the apartment.
Their search of the apartment yielded $68,629 worth of heroin and methamphetamine.
Police said both Haller and Ennen were taken into custody on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
