Gravity Payments CEO receives Tesla from grateful employees

(Dan Price/Facebook)

SEATTLE, Wash. — Dan Price, the Seattle CEO who gave his employees a major raise last year, has a new set of wheels, the Seattle Pacific graduate announced on Thursday.

"Shocked. Still in disbelief," Price wrote on Facebook. "Never imagined this was possible."

Gravity employees saved up and pitched in over the past six months to buy Price his dream car, a blue Tesla.

Gravity spokesman Ryan Pirkle told the Seattle Times the gift was thought up and organized by a single employee.

Price decided to raise the annual salary for all of the more than 130 people who work at his company to $70,000 last year.

Gravity Payments processes credit-card payments.

At the time, Price announced that he would also make only $70,000, a major drop from his previous salary of over $1 million annually.

Price's post had received more than 2,000 reactions and about 300 comments, as of 6:16 p.m. Sunday. <br/>
