Dog rescued after chasing ball off cliff in Spokane

A dog was rescued after falling off a cliff when his owner threw a ball that went over the edge of a cliff in Spokane, according to the Spokane Valley Fire Department.

On May 11, Toby, a 1-year-old pup, found himself nearly 30 feet down the side of a cliff on the 17100 block of East 8th.

Valley Ladder 8 set up their operation to rescue Toby, who was placed in a tarp and safely brought back up.

Toby was uninjured.
