GRANITE FALLS, Wash. — The Collision Investigation Unit of the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Granite Falls.
Deputies said a 54-year-old man crashed near the 1700 block of Engebretsen Road just before 2 a.m. Thursday.
Detectives said they believe the man went around a corner and slid into a guardrail, but investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
He died at the scene, officials said.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the motorcycle was reported stolen out of Mukilteo, Washington.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner identified the man as Curtis L. Hamilton of Seattle.
