A 33-year-old bicyclist died August 16, two days after being hit by a vehicle in Bellevue, police said.
The incident happened at Northeast 8th Street and 132nd Avenue Northeast shortly after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14.
A driver turned into the cyclist, police said. The cyclist was rushed to a hospital in serious condition.
Bellevue police reported the cyclist’s death shortly after 7 a.m. Friday. The man’s name was not immediately released. It’s expected to be reported next week by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
