Crystal Mountain and Stevens Pass resorts announced Saturday both will temporarily suspend operations due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Summit at Snoqualmie announced Sunday that it will also be suspending operations until further notice.

The parent company of Crystal Mountain, Alterra Mountain Company, said it is suspending operations at 15 of its North American ski resorts starting Sunday until further notice, which includes Crystal.

All lift operations, food and beverage, retail and rental services will be closed.

Crystal Mountain representatives will work directly with their guests in canceling visits and will provide refunds to those who have hotel and other bookings during the closure, according to corporate officials.

The parent company of Stevens Pass, Vail Resorts, said it is suspending all of its North American mountain resorts and retail operations beginning Sunday through March 22 and will reassess its approach for the rest of the ski season.

However, the companies’ lodging and property management operations plan to remain open to service guests already on location and those with existing reservations, but no new reservations will be accepted.
