BONNEY LAKE, Wash. — Crews rescued a hiker who had fallen down a steep embankment Friday afternoon at Victor Falls near Bonney Lake.
East Pierce Fire officials said three friends were climbing up the cliff when one of them lost their footing and slid half way down the 70-foot drop to the creek below. The hiker then landed on a pile of logs.
The hiker had non-life-threatening injuries.
Medics transported the hiker to a local hospital.
