Canadian tourist who visited Seattle in late April diagnosed with measles

A Canadian tourist who visited Seattle in late April has been diagnosed with measles, according to a release from King County Public Health.

The tourist, a man in his 40s, has since fully recovered. This case is not connected to the recent outbreak in Clark County.

While he was infected, he visited several Seattle-area locations. Anyone who doesn't have immunity to measles either through vaccination or from previously having the illness is at risk for infection if they were at one of these locations at the same time as the man or up to two hours after.
