Fat Bear Week is over and now it’s the bats’ time to shine.
The Bureau of Land Management is hosting the annual bat beauty pageant which began on Tuesday.
This year one of the more popular bats is going by the name of William Shakespeare.
Shakespeare is a Townsend big-eared bat who was originally from Butte Falls in Oregon.
The contest is taking place during International Bat Week as a way to raise awareness about environmental conservation.
