BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Officers with the Bellingham Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of assaulting a 71-year-old.
Police said the alleged assault happened on April 1 at 10 a.m.
"The male in the photos is suspected of assaulting a 71-year-old man who was driving his car through a bank parking lot in the 100 block of Holly Street," police wrote in a news release.
Police said the victim sustained facial fractures from the alleged assault.
The suspect is described by police as a white man in his 30s who is an average heigh,t average weight and has brown hair.
Photos appear to show the man wearing blue plants and a light colored shirt with a hood under a blue or black coat.
