A serious injury collision near the town of Snohomish sent eight people to the hospital, including five children, on Monday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.
At around 9:41 p.m. on June 20, the Washington State Patrol responded to a report of an incident on State Route 2, just east of 88th Street Southeast.
According to the incident report, a Cadillac collided head-on with a Toyota Sienna when the eastbound Cadillac drifted over into the westbound lane.
The 44-year-old driver of the Cadillac was not wearing a seat belt, according to the incident report.
All seven people in the Toyota Sienna, and the driver of the Cadillac, were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center for various injuries.
Both cars were totaled.
