710 ESPN to begin broadcasting classic Mariners games after MLB season delayed

SEATTLE — To keep Seattle fans connected even with the delay of the MLB season, 710 ESPN will start broadcasting classic Mariners games Thursday.

Thursday would have been the Mariners’ 2020 Opening Day game against the Texas Rangers.

The first game, the Mariners 2001 Opening Day against the Oakland A’s with the major league debut of Ichiro Suzuki, will air at 7 p.m.
