SEATTLE — A 7-Eleven store was robbed by an armed man in the South Delridge neighborhood of Seattle Friday morning.

At 5:10 a.m., a man walked into the store at 9041 Delridge Way SW and waited for customers to leave before approaching the counter.

The man acted like he was going to buy something, and when the clerk opened the cash drawer, the man pulled out a handgun and aimed it at the clerk, according to a Seattle Police Department significant incident report.

The man then reached over the counter and grabbed the till.

He then left the store, heading south on Delridge.

Seattle police used a K-9 team to try to track the man, but he was not found. The King County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, Guardian One, was not available.
