KENT, Wash. — Police are investigating after a man was shot and injured on Christmas morning in Kent.
Officers were called about 5:45 a.m. to a report of gunfire in the 24400 block of Pacific Highway South.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 25-year-old man in the road with gunshot wounds, officials said.
Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Police said the victim was seen being chased by another man and then gunshots were heard and reported to 911.
The shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence as the victim may have been the intended target, police said.
No arrests have been made and there is limited suspect information, according to investigators.
