A 40-year-old man was booked into the Aberdeen Jail after shooting at a 37-year-old man Saturday night, police said.
Officials said officers were called about 11:30 p.m. to the 500 block of Willow Street for a report of shots fired.
The 40-year-old had also called to report that he had shot at a man during an alleged fight, police said.
Officials said when officers arrived at the scene, both men, who live together, were detained.
During the initial investigation, police found out the older man fired two shots, officials said.
Investigators also said intoxication was a contributing factor in the incident.
No one was injured.
The 40-year-old was taken into custody for investigation of first-degree assault and domestic violence.
