A local dog breeder said there’s a $10,000 reward for the return of 11 dogs, most of them puppies, that were stolen from her Redmond home last week near Northeast 108th Street and 132nd Ave Northeast.
Melissa Norton said two adult dogs were stolen along with nine French bulldog and pug puppies that ranged in age from 4 to 8 weeks old.
“Total panic, I’m sick to my stomach,” said Norton. “I also feel guilty because if those girls hadn’t had puppies, they’d [have] been sleeping on my bed and wouldn’t have been there for someone to steal.”

Norton told KIRO 7 she checked on the dogs last Tuesday night before bed and woke up to find them missing Wednesday.
The dogs were kept in a separate building on her property, according to Norton, which did not have a working lock.
Several laptop computers and other valuables inside that building were left untouched, Norton said. She has no idea who would steal the dogs.
“It just tears me up; I haven’t really hardly slept since it happened,” said Norton, who will take the dogs back with no questions asked. “I wish I hadn’t slept that night.”
Norton said only three of the 11 dogs had microchips and that she has filed a police report.
KIRO 7 reached out to Redmond police with Norton’s case number for additional information but did not immediately hear back.
