Hope Solo is expected to rejoin the U.S. women's national soccer team on Saturday.
ESPN reports that Solo met the conditions of her 30-day suspension after an incident last month when her husband, Jerramy Stevens, was arrested for suspicion of DUI while driving a team van.
Stevens is a former tight end for the Seattle Seahawks.
The reinstatement decision lies with coach Jill Ellis and other U.S. Soccer officials. Last month, U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati said it was possible for Solo to miss the 2015 Women’s World Cup.
If approved for re-instatement, she'll fly off to Portugal Sunday for a tournament.
The 33-year-old Olympian has had other off-field trouble. In January, a judge dismissed two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence against her. The charges stemmed from an altercation with her half-sister and 17-year-old nephew at a party last June.
The couple lives in Kirkland.
