Edgewood barn goes up in flames Wednesday

EDGEWOOD, Wash. — Flames tore through a barn in Edgewood Wednesday burning it to the ground.

The fire sent a column of black smoke into the air as firefighters braved 90 degree heat fighting the flames. Two were treated at the scene for heat exhaustion.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing severe explosions inside the building. Several antique cars were seen in the wreckage.

Firefighters said several goats that were in the structure got out. A pig was still missing after the fire was out.

The cause is still under investigation.
