Pine Lake Middle School in Sammamish was on lockdown Friday afternoon, but lockdown was lifted and students were released Friday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
A threat, which deputies did not describe in detail, came in about 1:40 p.m. School was scheduled for regular dismissal at 2:05, and students left after being evacuated to the school field.
The threat is not believed to be credible, but deputies swept the building as a precaution, King County Sheriff’s spokeswoman D.B. Gates said.
