'Z Nation' looking for zombie extras in Spokane

SPOKANE — The popular T.V. show 'Z-Nation' is hosting auditions to be a zombie extra Saturday and Sunday in the outdoor amphitheater of the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture.

People interested in auditioning are asked to arrive in normal street clothes and without makeup, according to the media relations specialist at the MAC.

Both new and returning zombies will be auditioning for the fourth season of the Syfy Channel show. The show uses around 2,000 zombie extras each season.

New zombies can try out at the following times:

Saturday, June 17: 10am - 12 pm, 2 pm - 4 pm, 4 pm - 6 pm

Sunday, June 18: 11 am - 1 pm, 3 pm - 5 pm

Returning zombies will have the chance to audition on:

Saturday June 17: 9 am - 10 am, 1 pm - 2 pm

Sunday, June 18: 10 am - 11 am, 2 pm - 3 pm

The background casting director for the show, Victoria Gatts, is from Spokane and will be at auditions. 'Z Nation' has filmed in and around Spokane since 2014 and much of the final editing and production is done at Spokane's North by Northwest production company.
