BELLEVUE, Wash. — A 51-year-old construction worker was found face down in two feet of water at the bottom of a 10-foot hole on the site of a private development in Bellevue.
Workers removed him from the hole, and they performed CPR. Fire crews arrived and continued CPR efforts, and he regained a pulse.
They took him to the hospital.
He was unconscious for 10 to 15 minutes before he died, according to Bellevue Fire Department.
The man was found in the hole shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the site's location, 116th Avenue Northeast & NE 4th Street.
