SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A dive team and search and rescue helicopter searched Blackmans Lake thoroughly over the weekend.
Sunday morning, family of the man -- from Lake Forest Park -- called 911 and reported him missing.
Police said he was last seen by another fisherman at the lake. He was inflating a blue kayak Saturday in the parking lot.
Personnel reported seeing an inflatable blue kayak submerged partially within the lake.
The search was paused for the night on Sunday evening at around 6:00 p.m. -- scheduled to resume on Monday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Snohomish County officials continued to search for the missing fisherman throughout the week.
On Thursday night -- Dec. 11, a dive team and crew 'worked well past dark' searching Blackmans Lake, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's office.
The search was scheduled to resume at 8:00 in the morning on Friday.
On Friday -- officials announced that they had decided to stop searching, after they were unable to locate the victim.
