• Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop arrested for assaulting officer

OLYMPIA, Wash. - A man whose legal name is Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop was arrested Sunday for allegedly assaulting an Evergreen State College police officer and Thurston County deputy.

The Olympian reports Zopittybop-bop-bop was seen tearing down flyers at the college. An officer chased him and took him down to the ground. During the struggle, he allegedly grabbed the officer’s gun and then bit the officer’s ring finger several times. He also tried to stab the officer with an ink pen.

Prosecutor Mark Thompson said he was unable to verify Zopittybop-bop-bop’s legal name and deferred to his original name, Jeffrey Drew Wilschke. In 2011, he legally changed his name to Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop.

In 2012, Zopittybop-bop-bop was arrested on marijuana and weapon charges in Wisconsin. And in 2013  he made news again for an arrest on drug charges in Iowa.

Zopittybop-bop-bop’s bail was set at $50,000 with an arraignment set for Feb. 16.
