TACOMA, Wash. — Dozens of pit bulls that were rescued last month from a Tacoma property are ready for adoption.
On Oct. 15, the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County rescued 36 dogs and since then, eight more puppies were born in the shelter’s care.
The puppies range from a few weeks old to 5 years old.
The humane society is now accepting applications.
Anyone who is interested in adopting a dog will have to fill out an application and will have a comprehensive background check conducted on them by Pierce County Animal Control.
Click here to fill out an application and background check authorization form and email it to adoptions@thehumanesociety.org.
The dogs were taken from the same property where officials rescued 49 pit bulls last year.
