SEATTLE — The Seafair Clowns will hold a special tribute to Chris Wedes at this Saturday's Torchlight Spectacular and Torchlight Parade.
The "moment of laughter" in honor of the man who played J.P. Patches for decades on KIRO 7 will take place at the Fisher Pavillion lawn stage at 4:30 p.m.
The Seafair Clowns will also be paying tribute to Wedes in their parade appearance with banners.
Wedes passed away Sunday from a long illness.
