    KIRO 7 Consumer Reporter Jesse Jones will host this happy hour event to benefit legal aid and help end exploitation and abuse of people in poverty in Washington State.


    2019 World Arthritis Day Lunch and Learn

    October 11th @ Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason


    Saturday, October 12 is World Arthritis Day, a global initiative established to raise awareness of issues affecting people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. More than 54 million Americans, including 1.4 million adults and 6,100 children in Washington State, have arthritis. Attend this free lunch and learn to hear from two Seattle-area experts about the latest in arthritis research and treatment.


    Making Strides Against Breast Cancer South Sound

    October 12th @ Dune Peninsula Park


    KIRO 7 Traffic Anchor Tracy Taylor will host the South Sound walk to raise money to help breast cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through every step of their experience. Whether that means giving a patient a ride to chemo, helping a survivor look good so they feel better, or being available to answer a caregiver’s question at 2am.

    Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Seattle

    KIRO 7 Morning Anchor and breast cancer survivor Michelle Millman will host the area’s largest Making Strides Walk at Gas Works Park.  Funds raised will help breast cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through every step of their cancer experience.

    Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation Furevermore Fundraising Gala

    October 19th @ Nordic Museum


    Join KIRO 7’s Tracy Taylor for a night in honor and celebration of making dreams come true for Seattle’s shelter animals. It’s a fundraiser, but it’s also a party filled with games, silent and live auctions, delicious food, drink and camaraderie with fellow animal lovers. All funds raised at this event are critical and essential for every animal that comes to the Seattle Animal Shelter.

    American Cancer Society Seattle Hope Gala

    The Hope Gala has raised more than $2.5 million in support of the American Cancer Society's mission. In addition to celebrating the advances made in cancer treatment and prevention, the evening hosted by KIRO 7’s Jesse Jones and Monique Ming Laven - will feature an exquisite array of cuisine created by Seattle's top chefs alongside some of the finest wines in the region, and exciting live and silent auctions.


    Haselwood Auto Group Breast Cancer Awareness Drive for a Cause

    October 1-31

    For the entire month of October, Haselwood Auto Group hosts their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Drive for a Cause. The dealer group will be donating $25 for every vehicle purchase, $10 for every scratch or dent removal, and $5 for every vehicle serviced.
