SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — Both directions of I-90 were closed over Snoqualmie Pass for several hours because of bad driving conditions.
The closure stretched from Ellensburg to North Bend.
WSDOT said there were multiple crashes and spin-outs during heavy snowfall and there was compact snow and ice on the road.
Both directions reopened at about 10:45 a.m. At that time, traction tires were advised.
WSDOT said there is a westbound construction detour from Ellensburg to Cle Elum via US 97 to SR 970.
