Kraken lose 2-5 to Dallas Stars, have one more chance to stay in it

It was another rough outing for the Seattle Kraken in their playoff series with the Dallas Stars. The Kraken lost 2-5 in Dallas.

Now they’ll have to win on Saturday to keep their season going.

It started going wrong 88 seconds into the first period when Dallas scored, but the Kraken did their best to fight back. The Kraken actually outshot the Stars 14-5 in the first period but Dallas found two goals.

The Kraken started in the 2-0 hole which only got deeper, as just 33 seconds into the second period Joe Pavelski bounced one past Grubauer.

But the Kraken answered when Adam Larsson snuck in and beat Oettinger with a high shot as they continued to chase the game. Then Jared McCann scored his first goal of the playoffs.

The Kraken went to the third period down just one until the eight-minute mark when Hintz scored another. From there it only got worse.

But it’s pretty simple now - win on Saturday or the season is over.

The Kraken will take on the Stars Saturday, May 13 at 4 p.m. in Seattle.
