SEATTLE — Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was named to the NFC Pro Bowl roster on Monday, ahead of next weekend’s game in Las Vegas.
Wilson will be replacing Tom Brady, who is unable to participate because of injury.
This will be Wilson’s ninth time named to the Pro Bowl in 10 seasons.
Despite missing three games due to injury in the 2021 season, Wilson joined Hall of Famer Peyton Manning as one of only two players to throw at least 20 touchdown passes and pass for at least 3,000 yards in each of his first 10 seasons.
Wilson ties Hall of Famer Walter Jones for most Pro Bowl selections in franchise history.
Wilson also passed Manning this season by winning his 113th game, postseason included, the most for any quarterback in their first 10 seasons.
Wilson joins linebacker Bobby Wagner and safety Quandre Diggs for the Seahawks representation in the Pro Bowl.
