Seattle Sounders FC, fresh off their victory last Wednesday over Pumas UNAM in the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League, announced plans for a victory celebration on July 9 at Lumen Field.
The celebration will include a day of special activities, including opportunities for the public to view and take photos with the SCCL trophy.
The day’s events will be headlined with the unveiling of the championship banner in Lumen Field’s rafters.
Additionally, the trophy will be on the concourse at T-Mobile Park during tonight’s Seattle Mariners game through the end of the fifth inning.
Sounders FC players will take the field to hoist the trophy before the game and team captain Nico Lodeiro will throw out the first pitch.

On Wednesday, May 11, fans attending Sounders FC’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match at Starfire Stadium will have a chance to take photos with the trophy through the end of the match.
On Saturday, May 14, the trophy will be available at the Lumen Field Pro Shop for fan photos from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, May 15, the trophy will be at Lumen Field ahead of Sounders FC’s match against the Minnesota United FC at 1 p.m.
